Original Sin reveals Chi Zhen's ending and hints at season 2

The recent ending of crime thriller drama Original Sin 原生之罪 left viewers mourning when the main character Chi Zhen, played by Zhai Tianlin, was last seen on a train gravely wounded and presumably dead. The character's death trended on social media the next day for being too tragic and many demanding that Chi Zhen not be killed off. It looks like their prayers have been answered now that the show has dropped an easter egg to reveal the real ending.

The first season left many unanswered questions like the mystery behind Chi Zhen's older sister's killer. According to Director WaiMan Yip, if the viewers like the drama, they would very much like to continue filming a second season. He also reveals that many of the cast and crew members have called him to ask that they continue. 

Zhai Tianlin dropped the biggest hint yet as he thanked everyone for their anticipation for a second season. He said that he felt everyone's love for the characters Chi Zhen and Lu Li (played by Yin Zheng). He then shared a picture with iQIYI CEO Gong Yu and iQIYI VP Dai Ying and told everyone to wait for their updates. It looks like season 2 is practically confirmed. 

Lastly, a picture behind the scenes of Zhai Tianlin, Cherry Ngan, WaiMan Yip and Yin Zheng. No goodbyes.

Lisa Lu Photos from A Dream Like A Dream Stage Play With Hu Ge

Lisa Lu recently shared pictures of herself from the last few years performing onstage in A Dream Like A Dream with Hu Ge and their castmates The star-studded play has been known to draw a crowd of top stars like Shu Qi and Vicki Zhao. Chinese-born American actress and singer Lisa Lu who played grandma Shang Suyi in Crazy Rich Asians also plays a grandma as the aged version of the female lead Gu Xianglan. She is 91 years old and still looks radiant and healthy.  

Reaching 91 years is a feat by itself, but still acting at that age is a whole different ballgame.  We hope you are blessed with health and happiness, grandma Lu. 

A Dream Like A Dream rung down the curtain on its Beijing stop this year. Zhai Tianlin who is also part of the cast sang praises to everyone - Director Stan Lai for a witty script, leading lady Xu Qing for being a goddess in and out, Hu Ge for being really handsome and a really good person. Zhai Tianlin also wished good health to grandma Lu, gave a shout out Tan Zhuo for the treat and Sun Jian for being his comrade-in-arms.

Miss Buyer

Miss Buyer 买定离手我爱你 is a workplace drama set in the fashion industry. Instead of designers, it revolves around buyers and follows a young woman who sets out to learn the ropes in her new profession. A rookie's journey to success feels a bit been there, done that though this could potentially be a cute watch with enough charisma and light-heartedness, at least I hope that's the direction they're taking. 

I've seen Tina Tang Yixin (Rule the World) in many supporting roles. In fact, I find it amusing that both her and leading man Zhai Tianlin (The Family) have played villains in their previous dramas. They also both starred in Advisors Alliance. Here, she crosses paths and clashes with him, a top designer in the industry. 

Other characters include her teacher, a top buyer played by Li Yuan (Chinese Paladin 5) and the big boss, played by Yuan Wenkang (An Oriental Odyssey).
