Behind The Scenes currently airing starring Zhou Dongyu and Luo Jin

Behind The Scenes is a 46-episode drama series starring Zhou Dongyu, Luo Jin, Wayne Liu Ruilin, Wu Lipeng, Wang Xiao, Zhong Danni and Tse Kwan-ho. Kitty Zhang and Chen Shu make special appearances. 

The star-studded cast will be playing the parts of entertainment industry insiders, crew members, managers and celebrities. Luo Jin expressed that original Chinese productions are the most meaningful and shared the hope that it can spread to other countries. Behind the Scenes drives the same idea of creating an original show. 

It follows a mass communication student and a famous producer as they strive to reach their dreams despite the many obstacles in their way.  How far can their will to succeed take them?

Bui Xiaogu (Zhou Dongyu) is a mass communication student who aspires to produce her own television shows.  She has always considered producer Chun Yuqiao (Luo Jin) to be her role model and enters the same company as him to work as an intern.  She is disappointed to find out that he is unapproachable and difficult to get along with.  She also gets caught in an incident revolving around a live telecast that almost cost her job and misses the deadline to submit her graduate thesis.  Surprisingly, he steps up to take the responsibility for the incident which allows her to discover a different side to him.

2PM's Nichkhun reunite with Fei in Tencent drama Shall We Fall In Love

Shall We Fall In Love 勇往直前恋上你 will premiere as a Tencent web drama on December 27, 2018. It stars Nichkhun, Daisy Li Muchen, Wang Zirui and Wang Feifei. The cast is really the only reason this drama got on my radar, and it's not for the main couple but the randomness of 2PM's Nichkhun and former Miss A member Fei who both had their start in K-pop crossing paths in a c-drama. Maybe it's not so random considering that both have starred in dramas before.

Shall We Fall In Love is a light workplace romance that follows Nichkhun as a jobless loafer who gets provoked to apply for a top company and gets in. Initially elated at the opportunity to work and spend time with the girl that he fancies, he struggles to keep his job when the company realizes that they hired him by mistake. Fei plays the second lead who makes life hard for the heroine.

Miss Buyer

Miss Buyer 买定离手我爱你 is a workplace drama set in the fashion industry. Instead of designers, it revolves around buyers and follows a young woman who sets out to learn the ropes in her new profession. A rookie's journey to success feels a bit been there, done that though this could potentially be a cute watch with enough charisma and light-heartedness, at least I hope that's the direction they're taking. 

I've seen Tina Tang Yixin (Rule the World) in many supporting roles. In fact, I find it amusing that both her and leading man Zhai Tianlin (The Family) have played villains in their previous dramas. They also both starred in Advisors Alliance. Here, she crosses paths and clashes with him, a top designer in the industry. 

Other characters include her teacher, a top buyer played by Li Yuan (Chinese Paladin 5) and the big boss, played by Yuan Wenkang (An Oriental Odyssey).
