Zhao Liying first among Vlinkage's top 100 celebs for 3 years straight

There's one more report to add to the year-ender lists from last year. Vlinkage has unveiled their top 100 celebrities for 2018 and it's a list dominated by the ladies. Zhao Liying takes the top spot once again, her third year in a row. Yang Mi and Dilraba Dilmurat who take second and third place were also among the top 3 bankable stars named by CBN Weekly. Lisa Lu Photos from A Dream Like A Dream Stage Play With Hu Ge

Lisa Lu recently shared pictures of herself from the last few years performing onstage in A Dream Like A Dream with Hu Ge and their castmates The star-studded play has been known to draw a crowd of top stars like Shu Qi and Vicki Zhao. Chinese-born American actress and singer Lisa Lu who played grandma Shang Suyi in Crazy Rich Asians also plays a grandma as the aged version of the female lead Gu Xianglan. She is 91 years old and still looks radiant and healthy.  

Reaching 91 years is a feat by itself, but still acting at that age is a whole different ballgame.  We hope you are blessed with health and happiness, grandma Lu. 

A Dream Like A Dream rung down the curtain on its Beijing stop this year. Zhai Tianlin who is also part of the cast sang praises to everyone - Director Stan Lai for a witty script, leading lady Xu Qing for being a goddess in and out, Hu Ge for being really handsome and a really good person. Zhai Tianlin also wished good health to grandma Lu, gave a shout out Tan Zhuo for the treat and Sun Jian for being his comrade-in-arms.

Hu Ge's lawyers take action against cyberbullying after he spoke about Jiang Jinfu online

Hu Ge's comments on social media following Jiang Jinfu's arrest for domestic violence started a chain reaction from celebrities who knew Jiang Jinfu personally and spoke of him online. Some even openly expressed support for the actor and later apologized for their words. 

Being the first to speak up, Hu Ge was slammed and accused of choosing sides. He and Jiang Jinfu worked together in the past under the management of Tangren Media. 

Hu Ge also came under fire after netizens started heavily scrutinizing his past actions. A clip from years ago resurfaced wherein Hu Ge says that he kicked actress Jin Sha in the back as his way to relieve everyone's stress. The actress later clarified that Hu Ge's words were not very accurate and were probably said for the sake of variety. She also explains that they were filming a scene at the time. He was lying on a stretcher acting the part of an injured man and he lightly tapped her with his foot to signal that she had to walk faster or they may have to redo the scene. She reiterates that he did not kick her (see her post). 

On Dec 1st, a lawyer's letter was issued upon the request of Tangren Media on behalf of their artist, Hu Ge. The letter states that Hu Ge wrote a post on weibo to express his regretfulness and heartache, but a portion of netizens have been maliciously spreading bad comments, twisting the truth and making deliberate assumptions to suit their purposes. Their actions have insulted Hu Ge's integrity and infringed on his rights. Hence, they demand that the fabricated comments be deleted or they will be taking legal action.

Jiang Jinfu arrested by police, Hu Ge speaks up on social media

More than a week has passed since Jiang Jinfu's domestic violence case against his girlfriend came to light. Jiang Jinfu wrote a public apology on social media, but his whereabouts remained unknown. 

On November 27, Haruka Nakaura appeared on a Japanese program to reveal the details of the abuse and the extent of her injuries. Various rumors have been cropping up including one claiming that Jiang Jinfu has secretly returned to China.  

On November 28, Jiang Jinfu Studio released a statement to explain that the actor has reached out to Japanese police to cooperate with their investigation. The studio also asked for everyone to stop spreading rumors. 

The same day, Japanese news outlets began reporting about Jiang Jinfu's surrender. He has been arrested as a suspect of a DV case committed on October 12 that resulted in serious injuries to his girlfriend who had undergone 4 weeks of treatment. The actor is seen being escorted in handcuffs. Japanese police have indicated that they will be conducting a full investigation. 

Jiang Jinfu's breakout role was his first starring role in the 2012 drama Xuan Yuan Sword: Scar of Sky headlined by Hu Ge. 

Hu Ge took to weibo to talk about his former co-star. He writes, "Some things happened today and it led me to think about the person from seven years ago. During that hot summer, I saw a sunny young man. His eyes, his smile, his childish questions that elicit laughter, these are still in my memories until now. I once felt that I saw the person that I once was. Hearing today's news, I am very said. Even if some things have happened these few years, he is always that bright young man in my heart. Okay, today I drank too much. I want to say, life's journey is very long. A wrong is a wrong, but don't topple over. We still need to restore the truth. I still remember the first time I saw him cry, it was because he couldn't do an action scene well. He is like this, a kid that can't grow up. I am not trying to defend him, I am just very sad."
