Wong Cho-lam and Leanne Li reveal baby's photo for the first time

Wong Cho-lam recently celebrated his 39th birthday with wife Leanne Li and their baby Gabrielle whom they named after an angel. Being married for almost four years, Leanne gave birth to her daughter last month and proudly shared the baby's photo when greeting her husband a happy birthday on social media. Leanne joked about having two babies now and asked if Wong Cho-lam liked his present this year. He responds that his wife and child are his greatest gifts. 

Wong Cho-lam has repeatedly teased about his baby's appearance in the past and said that he didn't share photos on purpose because the baby looked too much like him. It's no secret that he wanted their daughter to take after his long-legged wife. We can't say for sure who Gabrielle actually takes after but she's clearly adored by her parents and utterly adorable.

Zhao Liying and Feng Shaofeng announce pregnancy on New Year's Day

Newly-weds Zhao Liying and Feng Shaofeng confirm the yearlong rumors on Jan 1, 2019 to announce that they're having a baby. Feng Shaofeng wrote on weibo, "Did you know, did you know, it ought to be a family of three (a pun on the Chinese title of The Story of Minglan 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦)." Zhao Liying shared the post and said, "Waiting, waiting, welcoming 2019." 

This confirmation hardly comes as a surprise since the couple have been the subject of non-stop baby rumors throughout the year. The two kept mum even after the announcement in October that they had gotten hitched.

Rather than take anyone by surprise this time with their whirlwind romance announcements, let's just say they chose a very festive day to share the news! Zhao Liying has been away from the public eye on an indefinite hiatus, but she has been active on social media and openly commented on Feng Shaofeng's performance for the New Year's Celebrations last night, saying that Second Uncle (his character in The Story of Minglan) was both nervous and cute.

She also posted a rare selfie for The Story of Minglan Christmas Day premiere last week. Looking at the picture, she did have that pregnancy glow already. Congrats to the happy couple!

Wong Cho-lam and Leanne Li are proud parents to a baby girl

Wong Cho-lam announced the birth of his daughter Gabrielle by sharing a photo of him and wife Leanne Li holding their baby's hand with the caption, "We are family - 2018.12.17." They chose to share the happy news on Dec 22 to greet everyone as a family of three on Dōngzhì Festival.

The two welcome their first child after getting married on Valentine's Day in 2015. Always one to play a joke, Wong Cho-lam who previously prayed for his daughter to look like his beauty pageant winning wife instead of him said that he didn't put up a photo because Gabrielle ended up looking too much like him 😅.

Yang Mi and Hawick Lau announce divorce through Jaywalk Studio

Yang Mi and Hawick Lau got married on January 8, 2014 in Bali. They welcomed the arrival of their baby girl in June of the same year. After five years of marriage and many speculations that the two have split, they made a joint announcement today through a statement issued by Jaywalk Studio.  

To friends who care for Hawick Lau and Yang Mi: 

Thank you for your continued support and love towards Jaywalk Studio artists Hawick Lau and Yang Mi. After careful consideration from both parties, they have decided to relay this message through the studio: The two have filed for divorce this year, separating amicably to end their relationship as a married couple.

Their decision is a decision made out of mutual respect and after communicating with each other. Even though they are no longer living together as husband and wife, they will be jointly caring for their child as family and wishing each other well as friends. 

For using the media for their personal affairs and for the trouble they've caused, the two artists give their sincerest apologies. At the same time, to protect their child and each other's families, they will no longer make any comment on the matter. Requesting the media and the public to respect their wishes and give them space.

Gillian Chung and Michael Lai Officially Wed in Hong Kong

On Dec. 18, singer-actress Gillian Chung and her doctor boyfriend Michael Lai registered their marriage in a romantic albeit simple ceremony in Hong Kong.  It was reported that about 30 close friends and family attended the event with celebrities like Leo Ku, Kenny Kwan and Gillian's bridesmaids making by her side.  

It can be recalled the couple hosted a wedding banquet in Los Angeles earlier this May which had people thinking that Gillian and Michael were already married. As it turns out, it wasn't official yet. 

On Dec. 20, the couple's actual wedding day, their banquet had 38 tables of guests and among them were Rainie Yang, Michelle Chen, Angela Zhang and Julia Cheung. 

Her bridesmaids include Charlene Choi, Joey Yung and Yumiko Cheng. 

  

At the start of the event, Gillian took to the stage and tearily expressed her gratitude by saying, "I'm so thankful that the heavens allowed me to meet all the people who love me."  Michael, on the other hand, addressed Gillian's mother, "Rest assured and hand your daughter to me."  

Kenny Kwan of the Hong Kong Cantopop duo Boy'z ended up with the bouquet of flowers?

Gillian revealed that she is now getting used to being called "Mrs. Lai" and that her next project would be "to make babies." Gillian took to weibo the day after to thank everyone as the curtain comes down on her multiple wedding celebrations. She admits that she's not particularly fond of flowers, but gushes that the venue was too romantic.

Nicky Wu and Liu Shishi confirm that they have a baby on the way

There were reports earlier today of Nicky Wu's mother confirming the news that after three years of marriage, Cecilia Liu Shishi is five months pregnant. She further shared that everyone in their family is overjoyed and that the couple had felt pressure over rumors that Liu Shishi couldn't get pregnant. Mother Wu further reveals that Liu Shishi is expected to give birth in Taiwan in May of next year. 

Nicky Wu and Liu Shishi have kept a low profile throughout the pregnancy, but shortly after the reports came out, Nicky Wu confirmed the long-running rumors of a baby on the way. He writes, "We are very excited and happily waiting for the arrival of a new family member, thank you for everyone's concern." Liu Shishi also shared her husband's announcement on weibo with the caption, "Looking forward."

Wong Cholam and Wife Share Maternity Photos

Funny man Wong Cholam from the Chinese variety game show Keep Running has recently shared photos of him and his pregnant wife Leanne Li.  They are expecting their baby girl very soon. 

Wong Cholam also shared an ultrasound image of his unborn baby girl. When he was told the baby looks like him, Wong Cholam just smiled and said, "When you look at the ultrasound picture, the nose and lips are exactly the same. The nose is big and the lips easily resemble mine. But since she isn't born yet, I'll pray for her not to look like me, but the mom." referring to his wife Leanne.

Wong Cholam has also asked fans to help name his unborn baby girl.  He says, "The baby is a girl. The father's surname is Wong. The mother's surname is Li. What are good names?"

Wong Cholam and his wife Leanne seem to be a very sweet and loving couple. Asked about his wife's childbirth, Wong replies that his wife is almost ready to give birth and that they are very excited.

Alyssa Chia and Xiu Jie Kai Wedding in Bali

After registering their marriage in 2015, Alyssa Chia and Xiu Jie Kai held their wedding ceremony three years later on November 25, 2018. It was a beautiful event and incredibly touching when you know the couple's story. I remember hearing about Alyssa Chia's troubles from her previous marriage on the news, and it's heartwarming to know that she found happiness with her hubby and three daughters. 

Like any celebrity weddings, star-gazing is a must and a few of the attendees include Ivy Chen, TV hosts Matilda Tao and Sam Tseng. Mark Chao was supposed to attend with his wife Gao Yuanyuan but he went alone because her passport expired! 

Always the wedding singer in these events, Jam Hsiao sang a beautiful rendition of Always On My Mind. Singer turned TV host Ou Di also sang at the wedding.
